South Korean giant Samsung has decided to skip Mobile World Congress 2017 and is believed to unveil the S8 models at a later date. GSM Arena has reported the prices of Samsung Galaxy S8 citing a Chinese tipster. The tipster has revealed that a 6GB RAM & 128GB ROM Galaxy S8 model will start sales in the Chinese and South Korean markets, besides the rumored 4GB RAM & 64GB ROM variant. He has disclosed the prices for these models.
The prices in Asian markets for 128GB internal storage could be as much as US$ 943 (approx. INR 63000). For 64GB internal storage it could go down to US$885 (approx. 59000). These rumored prices are higher than the prices of Galaxy S7 Edge (US$750 to 792) at its launch time. The tipster has said that the sale of these models will start from April 21, 2017.
As far as specifications are concerned for Samsung Galaxy S8 models, they will feature with Snapdragon 835 chip. On the camera side, the model will come with DUAL ADC feature which means it “should in theory enable color depth”. There are also rumors that it will have edge to edge display with a home button on the screen. It will also have a fingerprint sensor at the back and a new assistant Bixby. Another spectacular feature that might be there is new desktop dock “DeX”. This feature will make Galaxy S8 smartphone to work as Android personal computer along with keyboard and mouse.
