Pay for data from April 1 : Reliance Jio

Happy New Offer from Reliance Jio is finally coming to end on 31st March 2017. From April 1  Reliance Jio has started  Prime subscription plan that will offer the same free data and other that services for next 12 months at Rs. 303 per month. The services are same as customers used to get in Happy New Year offer. This is effectively Rs 10 per day for all data, calls, text messages and all other service including JioTV, JioMusic, JioMags, Jio Cinema and JioXpressNews.

The announcements were made by Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. He said Jio has crossed 100 million customers within 170 days of its launch. He also shared the details for Jio Prime subscription plan. This new plan will be available to all Jio customers who join before March 31, 2017.

The subscription costs Rs. 99 a year, and entails benefits worth Rs. 10,000.  The plan  will be valid till March 31, 2018.  Jio customers can begin registering for the Jio Prime subscription plan starting March 1, 2017. The sign-ups will end on March 31, 2017.

What will happen to those who do not sign up for Jio prime plan. These customers will be ported to the prepaid or postpaid Reliance Jio tariff plans. Ambani emphasized  that all voice calls on the network will remain free indefinitely – with no roaming charges  as announced earlier. Ambani  said that Jio will always strive to be the most value for money telecom operator in India.  Accordingly Jio will not only match the highest selling plans of each of the leading telecom operators but also provide 20 percent more data than the respective plans.
