Intex has added one more smartphone to its entry smartphone portfolio by launching Aqua Amaze+ model. It comes at a price point of Rs. 6290. It is the successor of Aqua Amaze. The previous version was launched way back in 2014 with Android Kitkat OS.
The New model is 4.7 inch (720X1080 pixels) HD resolution with IPS display. The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow OS. It has a decent processor, a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The new Intex model is clubbed with 1GB RAM.
The good feature about budget smartphone is its camera. It boasts of 5 MP rear camera as well as 5MP front facing camera. It has two LED flash on the both sides. As far as storage is concerned, the smartphone provides decent 8GB space with the expansion up to 64GB using microSD card.
The Intex Aqua Amaze+ measures 139.6×68.8×9.4mm with the weight of 128 gram. Additionally it also equipped with Value Added Services (VAS) in the form of LFTY. This left screen concept aims at providing a seamless multi-category content and value to consumers. Therefore a single-screen will enable the access to multiple utilities and content categories . This also helps in filtering pop-ups on the home screen. Intex has also introduced e-payments services for Android users. It has launched an e-wallet app called Intex MyWallet. The app is available free on Google Play store.
