The telecom tariff war is heating to take on the aggression from Reliance Jio offers. This time Airtel , the largest telecom player in India, has come out with 2 variants of infinity plans. The free calls and free data benefits offered by Jio may take a hit after these schemes are roll out.
The Airtel has two plan at INR 549 and INR 799 price points. Both plans have unlimited voice calls all over India to any network. it also has free 100 SMS per day and free incoming call on national roaming.
In addition to above features 549 Airtel’s post paid myPlan Infinity plan includes premium access to Wynk movies and music. 4G users will have 3GB data while 3G users will 1GB data free for use. The 799 plan has 5GB usage for 4G users and 3GB data usage for 3G users.
These two plans are meant for postpaid users. Earlier Airtel has introduced prepaid plans at INR 145. The plan offers unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls for both local and STD along with 300MB for 4G users. Non 4G users get only 50 MB data free. The other plan is at INR 345 with unlimited local and STD call to any network with 1GB for 4G users. The non 4G users have only 50 MB free usage. Both the plans have 28 days validity.
